Hands off Puerto Rico! Our Land is Not for Sale!
For one hundred and twenty six years, Puerto Rico has been suffocated and forcefully operated under the colonial rule of the United States of America. In a war of imperialist design, the island and its people were snatched from one colonizer to another. In recent years, the reactionary government of Puerto Rico has made strides to bring about statehood for the island, despite the growing dissent of the Puerto Rican masses on the island.
The reactionary government applauds itself for abducting Dominican and Haitian immigrants, providing the island as a playground for the ultra wealthy and as a proxy to further an imperialist agenda across Latin America under a renewed form of the reactionary Monroe Doctrine. Moreover, the dual pressures of national oppression and capitalist instability force migration from the island to the mainland US.
The Puerto Rican diaspora has served an integral role in the struggle for national liberation, from working class organizations fighting for self determination in the barrio such as the Young Lords to the FALN’s righteous campaign of resistance against US imperialism’s occupation of Puerto Rico.
Ultimately, the only antidote to mass humiliation and neglect is revolution. The masses of Puerto Rico must organize themselves and prepare for this conquest of power. With this, it is critical that those Puerto Rican and proletarian forces in the United States build iron-clad comradery with the revolutionary forces of Puerto Rico. The entire socialist movement depends on it.

¡Manos fuera de Puerto Rico! ¡Nuestra tierra no se vende!
Durante ciento veintiséis años, Puerto Rico ha estado asfixiado y sometido al dominio colonial de los Estados Unidos de América. En una guerra de designios imperialistas, la isla y su pueblo fueron arrebatados de un colonizador a otro. En los últimos años, el gobierno reaccionario de Puerto Rico ha avanzado en su intento por lograr la estadidad para la isla, a pesar del creciente descontento de las masas puertorriqueñas.
Este régimen reaccionario se felicitó por haber secuestrado inmigrantes dominicanos y haitianos, convirtiendo la isla en un paraíso para los ultrarricos y en un instrumento para impulsar una agenda imperialista en América Latina bajo una versión renovada de la reaccionaria Doctrina Monroe. Además, la doble presión de la opresión nacional y la inestabilidad capitalista impulsa la migración desde la isla hacia Estados Unidos continental.
La diáspora puertorriqueña ha jugado un papel fundamental en la lucha por la liberación nacional, desde organizaciones de la clase trabajadora que lucharon por la autodeterminación en sus barrios, como los Young Lords, hasta la justa campaña de resistencia de las FALN contra la ocupación imperialista estadounidense de Puerto Rico.
En última instancia, el único antídoto contra la humillación y el abandono generalizados es la revolución. Las masas de Puerto Rico tienen que organizarse y prepararse para esta conquista del poder. Por ello, es crucial que las fuerzas puertorriqueñas y proletarias en Estados Unidos forjen una sólida camaradería con las fuerzas revolucionarias de Puerto Rico. Todo el movimiento socialista depende de esto.
